What you should know about breast cancer

The book informs the public (both healthy and sick) about various aspects of breast cancer, the latest trends in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease in an accessible way. The text explains possible early and late side effects of treatment and how to prevent or mitigate them. Treatment results and reasons for long-term, practically lifelong follow-up are also presented.

The main author and co-authors are experienced oncologists and radiotherapists from various departments in the Czech Republic. The first edition of the book was very successful, but it was published almost 10 years ago. Therefore, the authors' team decided to update and supplement it.

The full-colour publication is supplemented with 86 pictures and photographs and 5 tables.
