Who knows?

Astrid Phelps is thirty-two years old and after years as a less-than-successful set designer, she's trying to make a fresh start - and, above all, to deal with an alcohol addiction that has taken a lot out of her. Although she would have imagined it all very differently, she moves in with her sober, God-fearing mother in the quiet seaside town of Flinstead after returning from a London sanatorium. When she meets a likeable young man, Josh, it seems that she too might get a new chance. But all is not so rosy, what it might look like, because someone knows more about her past life, than she would have liked, and he wants to, to pay for her sins. But who could know her darkest secret?
