Who's looking for the truth?

In the spring of 1871, Lizzie Ross accompanies her venerable Aunt Parry on a convalescent trip to the south coast of England. Lizzie' s husband Ben has to stay in town due to an investigation at Scotland Yard, so he tells his wife to be careful and not get involved in anything. However, when Lizzie, along with her aunt and other guests, is invited to dinner at the mansion of wealthy landowner Sir Hendy Meager, who is found shot in his own bed the next day, it becomes clear that Lizzie will eventually need Ben' s help after all. Together, they must try to uncover Sir Henry' s darkest secret and catch the ruthless killer.
