Who's my judge?

Josef Pohl created an unusual collaborative pair by contemporary standards: a judge and a captain in the Criminal Investigation Department, or more accurately, Public Security. On the day of the judge's birthday, a police officer comes to the judge with a case that happened in the same place and under very similar circumstances as the year-old crime. A young woman is found dead in a gloomy villa, poisoned by gas. With the new case, the judge is confronted with his year-old sentence.
