Winter in Thonnierice

Thornel was originally aimed at the elves. However, he was persuaded to spend one more winter in Thonnierice and work for the young king. He thought – and he said so himself – that one winter in Thonnierica wouldn' t kill him. However, he had no idea how difficult it would be. The city is under attack by unknown marauders, and Thornel must follow their trail. He looks for witnesses, asks questions, searches the streets and old documents. He must become a detective in a world where the detective craft has not yet been invented. Winter in Thonnierice is a separate book and a loose sequel to the novel The Cuckoo' s Nest.
