Woman on the warpath - DVD

Which is the better way to save the world: sabotaging a high-voltage pylon or adopting a Ukrainian orphan?
This is the question facing the eccentric “zen terrorist” in this juicy, ironic, beautifully shot, and delightfully sound-designed film by Benedikt Erlingsson, who, much like in his anthology film *Of Horses and Men*, explores the endearing quirks of Icelandic stubbornness.

Fifty-something Halla appears to be a respectable teacher and choirmaster, but there's more to her than meets the eye. This tough and uncompromising woman leads a double life – waging a private war against the industrial giants destroying the Icelandic landscape. Armed with a bow, the most wanted woman on the island grapples with a dilemma many of us face: how can one person help prevent an environmental and social catastrophe?
