Wonderful hotel Marigold - DVD

The wonderful Marigold Hotel, based in India, is intended to be a resting place for a group of classy retirees from Great Britain. He thinks so until these seven seniors, longing for change and a new life, find themselves at the gates of a not-quite-finished hotel. Thus begins a humorous and romantic adventure in a land of unexpected joys and possibilities. The following retirees arrive in sunlit Jaipur with the only desire to start living again: financially insecure, newly widowed Evelyn (Judi Dench), the illusion of Supreme Court Justice Graham (Tom Wilkinson), the quarrelsome couple Douglas and Jean (Bill Nighy and Penelope Wilton), the eternal seekers of love Norman (Ronald Pickup) and Madge (Celia Imrie) and Muriel (Maggie Smith) - whose only intention is to have a joint replaced in India and leave the country immediately. They all find themselves in the hands of Sonny Kapoor (Dev Patel), to the young, ambitious and naive owner, who inherited a once stunning building from his father, and who believes that he manages to turn it into a first-class luxury hotel. So far, he can only offer chaos, but what Sonny lacks in resources he can offer in abundance in enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Despite his optimism, the new guests are horrified, gradually finding that the announced “improvements“ somehow did not take place and conveniences such as water, electricity or telephone remain almost unavailable. They are equally confused by India, a country full of contrasts, on the one hand dirty and dangerous, on the other hand modern, beautiful and exceptional. At first it seems that none of the seven heroes have any idea what the future in a foreign country will bring them. But gradually, as they make new friendships and discover many new experiences, they gradually forget their past and look forward to what the future will bring.
