Wrinkles of Love - Blu-ray

Ota is a former teacher and, at his age, has developed a number of quirks that somewhat complicate life for his son and daughter-in-law. Now facing a difficult operation, Ota decides it's the right time to find someone who once had a huge influence on his life. But his meeting with Jana, an actress, is rather different from what he imagined. Nevertheless, it is this vibrant lady, who has no intention of giving up on an active life, who once again turns his fate upside down. Thanks to Jana, Ota embarks on a thrilling road movie, the likes of which he might not have dared to attempt even in his younger years. And it is this important encounter that confirms for them both that the worst thing a person can do is give up on everything!
A kind, moving, and humorous story from screenwriter Marek Epstein and director Jiří Strach about two people who decide to live their autumn years to the fullest. An extraordinary on-screen reunion of two legends of Czech cinematography – Jiřina Bohdalová and Radoslav Brzobohatý, who, after forty years, deliver a true acting masterclass together on the silver screen once more.
