Young Neil: Roxy / Tonight's The Night Live - CD

To mark Record Store Day, Neil Young releases one of his archive treasures. A recording of a 1973 concert at which many of his songs were performed publicly for the first time. Most of them come from Tonight's The Night. Young is accompanied by the Santa Monica Flyers on the recording, musicians Ben Keith (pedal steel, slideguitars, vocals), Billy Talbot (bass), Ralph Molina (drums, vocals) and Nils Lofgren (piano, vocals, guitars). The album is available on 2LP and CD.

Neil Young is an essential figure not only in American rock history. The inventive guitarist, composer, singer and nowadays music industry entrepreneur has inspired many followers. He has worked in the bands Shadows and Buffalo Springfiled, and in the groups Crosby, Still, Nash & Young, but he has made a name for himself as a solo musician. He is hailed as one of rock'n'roll's greatest performers and most respected guitarists.
