London, 1905. The grandest house in the luxurious Mayfair district holds many treasures, but also dark secrets. When the housekeeper, Mrs King, starts asking too many questions, she is dismissed on the spot. But she won't take it lying down and decides to get her revenge. She knows exactly what to do. The world of thieves and con artists is her home turf. She grew up in it. She assembles a group of women from the fringes of society, who get themselves hired as maids in the house to carry out the most audacious heist London has ever seen. A housekeeper, chambermaids, seamstresses – who would suspect them?
