The Mekede reversing camera with LED night light transmits an image from the area behind your vehicle directly to the screen of a compatible car radio, monitor or multimedia unit with an analogue AV input. This system makes parking and reversing in tight spaces easier and helps prevent collisions with obstacles. The integrated 7360 chip captures the situation behind the car at a wide 90° viewing angle. Built-in LEDs increase visibility in twilight and darkness. The device operates on the NTSC video system and provides a video resolution of 720 × 480 pixels in SD resolution.

Night illumination
The rear parking camera with LED night light uses twelve light sources, which the manufacturer has placed directly around the optical lens. The LEDs automatically illuminate the area behind the rear bumper when there is a lack of ambient light, at dusk or in complete darkness. This gives the driver a clear view even when parking at night or in underground garages. The illumination activates at the same time as the camera itself.
Adjustable tilt
A metal bracket, approximately 40mm wide, holds the camera body and allows you to change the tilt as needed. After installation, you can adjust the vertical tilt angle by up to 90° to easily aim the lens. You can adjust the camera's tilt to suit the height and specific mounting location on your vehicle. Setting the angle correctly helps to eliminate blind spots immediately behind the car's bumper.
A camera for various vehicles
The device works with most common car radios, monitors and multimedia units on the market. A successful connection requires an analogue AV video input on the display screen. The standard NTSC video system transmits an analogue video signal directly to the car's onboard system. The signal is transmitted by the included 5.5m video cable, which is long enough to run the wiring through the vehicle's interior.
Dimensions and mounting
The camera body, with a width of 22–23mm, contributes to a discreet look on the vehicle. The design allows for mounting in the registration plate area, on the boot lid, or any other suitable place at the rear of the car. Its small size prevents it from spoiling the look of the car's bodywork and does not attract unwanted attention. The entire device weighs just 100g, making it easy to mount on both plastic and metal parts.
Automatic system start-up
The system's power supply connects to the car's standard 12V reversing light circuit. When you engage reverse gear, the camera activates instantly and sends an analogue video signal directly to the input on the car radio or monitor. The image appears without the driver needing to switch it on manually. After disengaging reverse, the video transmission turns off again and the monitor returns to its previous mode.

The complete package contains all the basic elements needed for mechanical installation and electrical connection. In addition to the rear car camera itself, the package includes a power cable and a video cable. Installation is made easy by the included screws and double-sided adhesive pad for securely attaching the bracket. This means the driver does not need to buy any additional fasteners for a basic installation.
