Meze Strada

The Meze STRADA are closed-back, dynamic over-ear headphones with 50mm drivers designed for balanced reproduction, precision, and a natural soundstage. The driver combines a biocellulose composite dome with a semi-crystalline polymer torus coated with a beryllium layer. The closed-back design provides passive isolation from ambient noise and is adapted for long listening sessions. The construction uses premium materials including magnesium, zinc, Macassar Ebony wood, and PU leather. The deep, memory foam earcups are magnetically attached and their inner part is fitted with Alcantara.

Dynamic 50mm Driver for Balanced Reproduction

The Meze STRADA use a 50mm dynamic driver. Its dome is made of a biocellulose composite and the torus is a semi-crystalline polymer with a beryllium layer applied by PVD. This design increases the rigidity and durability of the driver while maintaining low weight and fast transient response. The torus grooves are positioned at a 45.5° angle and a copper-zinc alloy stabiliser helps absorb vibrations and reduce distortion. The resulting tuning offers firm and defined low frequencies with a slight bass emphasis, neutral mids, and highs with a subtle enhancement of detail and spatial information.

Closed-Back Design and Listening Comfort

The closed-back design distributes pressure evenly across the head and ear area. The deep earcups, made of memory foam, have a soft PU leather contact surface that supports a stable acoustic seal. The inner part of the earcups is fitted with Alcantara, which helps regulate heat and moisture build-up. The headband padding is arranged in a symmetrical cross pattern for even pressure distribution and to maintain airflow. A magnetic system for attaching the earcups makes them easy to remove and replace while maintaining a proper seal.

Premium Materials and Modular Design

The frame of the Meze Strada headphones is made of magnesium and the earcup shells are adorned with dense Macassar Ebony wood with its characteristic grain. The chassis is hand-painted in four layers of a deep green shade with metallic particles. The adjustment rods allow for smooth size adjustment without individual mechanical steps. The design is engineered for serviceability, and individual components can be replaced if needed. An elegant case is included in the package.
