Micro and mini HiFi systems are used primarily for playback of audio content (CD, MP3 or radio), but you can also find models that support video (DVD/Blu-Ray) and are compatible with USB devices. You can also use mini HiFi systems as a home theatre. Their advantages include relatively favourable prices and connectivity with other devices. When choosing, consider how much space you have and which audio / video formats you want the system to support.
