The CRS series offers a combination of a top-class router and an L3 switch with detailed settings in the familiar RouterOS L5 system, which is found across the full range of Mikrotik network products. The MIKROTIK CRS112-8P-4S-IN routerboard provides all the basic functions of a managed switch, plus some advanced ones such as direct port-to-port forwarding management, MAC filter application, VLAN configuration, traffic mirroring, bandwidth limiting, and you can even adjust some MAC and IP header fields. For connectivity, it features four SFP uplinks and eight gigabit RJ45 ports with remote power via 802.3af/PoE/PoE+ or passive PoE, so you can power devices like access points (APs), IP cameras, and VoIP phones directly from the router.
