The Mikrotik RB912UAG-5HPnD-OUT Outdoor WiFi Access Point is a rugged network device designed for outdoor installations that combines the functions of an access point, router and Power over Ethernet support. The device operates in the 5 GHz band with support for 802.11a/n standards and achieves a maximum data rate of up to 2,400 Mbps. The weatherproof construction and operating temperature range from -40 to 70 °C ensures reliable operation even in harsh conditions. The access point is equipped with an AR9342 processor with a frequency of 600 MHz, 64 MB RAM and 128 MB NAND storage with RouterOS pre-installed. It comes with a complete mounting kit including a metal mounting ring for pole or pole mounting, a DIN rail for rack mounting, a Gigabit PoE injector and a 24V 0.8A power adapter. The device cover can be opened with one hand and provides protection for the USB, Ethernet and ground connectors behind the protective cover.

Connectivity and expandability
The device has one Gigabit Ethernet port with 10/100/1000 Mbps speed and supports passive PoE power supply in the range of 8-30V, allowing flexible installation without the need for a separate power supply at the installation site. There are two RP-SMA Female connectors for connecting external antennas and a miniPCI-e slot that allows expansion with an additional wireless interface to create a dual-band solution. The access point is also equipped with a USB 2.0 Type A port with a maximum current of 1 A and USB Power Reset function, a Mini SIM card slot for modem connection and a connector for grounding.
Advanced features and management
RouterOS offers advanced networking features including VPN support, parental controls and a comprehensive firewall. NAT features include Port Forwarding, DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) and UPnP for easy configuration of network services. The device is equipped with PCB temperature and voltage monitoring to control operating parameters and also includes an audible beeper to indicate conditions. The maximum power consumption is 12 W with passive fanless cooling, ensuring quiet and reliable operation with an MTBF of approximately 100,000 hours at 25°C.
