Light output and colour spectrum
The 178mm diameter circular design concentrates the light beam using lenses with a 45° angle. The 30W light source generates an illuminance of 4854 lx at 1 metre at a colour temperature of 5600K. The average colour rendering index (CRI) is 95 Ra, ensuring accurate reproduction of colour details without colour shift. The average TLCI value is 93.
Advanced technology
The Nebula C4 light engine combines white and coloured LED chips. This system generates a spectrum ranging from 2700 to 7500K. The device meets the RG0 safety certification, which confirms that the light is safe for human eyes and skin. Users can adjust the green and magenta shift within a range of ±150 values.
Three operating modes
The control system offers three separate operating modes for different lighting scenarios. CCT mode lets you set the white light temperature with precise green and magenta correction. The HSI mode provides a choice of 36000 colours for background or scene colour toning. The third mode, labelled Effect, features 14 preset lighting effects with individually adjustable parameters. A 1.28" circular display shows the settings.
Power systems
The device supports two power methods for studio and field operation. Mains power runs via a USB-C port supporting PD 3.0 in a voltage range of 9 to 20V. For wireless operation, use the 7.4V NP-F battery slot. This dual power system simplifies working out of reach of the mains.
Construction and installation
The circular plastic body features an adjustable bracket with 20 preset tilt positions. A 1/4"-20 thread or the supplied 5/8" receiver adapter lets you mount the light to a stand. A magnetic diffuser makes it easy to switch from soft to hard light.
Quiet operation and cooling
The integrated fan dissipates heat with low noise levels that do not interfere with audio recording. Ventilation holes around the perimeter of the body aid cooling during long operations. The built-in Bluetooth module enables remote control via the Nanlink App 2.0. The app also allows wireless firmware updates.
