Chromium is an essential element involved in glucose metabolism - its deficiency has the same symptoms as insulin deficiency. Zinc has a similar glucose-tolerance effect and is also essential in the production of a number of enzymes and hormones. The absorption of these elements is favourably influenced by the addition of vitamin B6. Zinc and vitamin B6 together contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal mental well-being and to reducing the level of fatigue and exhaustion.
