Medicated patches guarantee relief from pain in muscles and joints of the limbs, continuous effect for 12 h, used for short-term treatment of pain in acute stretching, sprains or bruising of the limbs due to injuries, e.g. for sports injuries, this medicine can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 16.
The registered medicinal product Olfen patch is intended for the treatment of:
short-term pain management
- acute strain, sprain or contusion
- limbs as a result of injuries, e.g. in sports injuries.
- the active substance diclofenac, after application to the skin, penetrates the skin depot from which it is gradually released
Dosage and method of use
Olfen, 140 mg medicinal patches are intended for adults and adolescents from 16 years of age. It is applied twice a day (morning and evening) on the skin in the area of the affected area. Patches should not be cut (cut or torn) and should not be used for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor. Longer use must be consulted with a physician and must not exceed 7 days. The maximum daily dose is two medicated patches, even if more than one area needs to be treated. You treat only one painful area at a time.
Contraindications
This medicine can be used by adults and adolescents from the age of 16 years. The use of the product in pregnancy and during breastfeeding is decided by the doctor. Read the package insert carefully.
Storage
Always keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Do not refrigerate, protect from frost. Keep the bag tightly closed to protect the product from drying out. The product is usable for 4 months from the first opening of the bag. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
