Olife Energy DoubleBox AC 22 kW - Solar - 2 cables Type 2, 5 m

Olife Energy DoubleBox AC 22 kW - Solar - 2 cables Type 2, 5 m
OlifeEnergy DoubleBox is a durable, all-metal charging station for charging two electric vehicles with alternating current (AC) at a power of up to 44kW (22kW each). It also lets you charge your electric vehicle from your photovoltaic power plant (PV). It is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with the option of mounting it on a wall or on a post anchored to the ground. The DoubleBox is equipped with a Type 2 cable. Charging can start automatically as soon as the vehicle is connected, after identification with an RFID card, or via a mobile phone. The complete configuration is also carried out via the smartphone app. The station's power can be set in the range of 0–44kW, and the set power is shared between the connected vehicles. The station can be connected to a ripple control receiver, integrated into a smart home, linked with a battery storage unit, or integrated with other control systems. Using the external OlifeEnergy SmartMeter unit, you can dynamically manage the station's power to prevent tripping the circuit breaker during high consumption, charge from solar power plant surpluses, or from a low tariff.

For charging two electric vehicles at the same time
The Olife Energy DoubleBox AC 22kW - Solar is designed for charging all types of electric vehicles on the EU market with alternating current (AC). It can charge two electric vehicles at the same time, each with a power input of up to 22kW. The input power cable must be preceded by a type A residual current device with a minimum nominal current of 40A.
Smart charging from photovoltaic surpluses
The solar module supports three main charging modes. In the mode for charging an electric vehicle from PV surpluses, the DoubleBox SOLAR communicates with selected PV inverters (GoodWe (ET series), SOLAX, Dražice, Huawei (SUN2000)) for domestic photovoltaic plants (PV) without needing to purchase an OlifeEnergy SmartMeter to protect the main circuit breaker. The solar module communicates with the photovoltaic inverter via Wi-Fi or the ModBus TCP Ethernet protocol over the local network (LAN). It also facilitates remote management and setup of the station over the local network. The collaboration with the inverter enables the station to control the charging of the electric vehicle to achieve the highest possible charging speed with maximum efficiency of the produced solar energy for charging the car from PV surpluses. In this mode, the charging intensity of the electric vehicle continuously adapts to the current energy production from the photovoltaic plant and the current household consumption. The main goal is to maximise the use of the produced solar energy for charging and to minimise or completely prevent energy overflow back into the distribution grid.
Smart charging start with support from the grid
Charging only starts when there is surplus energy corresponding to the minimum charging current of 6A (determined by the vehicle's properties). In this mode, you can also set the Grid Assistant – to top up missing amps from the grid. For example, if I set a top-up of 3A, charging will start when the surplus is 3A, as the sum will reach the required 6A. This eliminates charging interruptions if, for example, a cloud passes and production from the PV plant drops. The Grid Assistant always tops up only the maximum set value of amps. If the surplus is higher, no top-up occurs. For instance, if I have set a top-up of 3A but the surplus is 5A, only 1A is topped up. If the surplus is 7A, nothing is topped up.
