ONKYO TX-8470 Black

The ONKYO TX-8470 network stereo receiver combines high-fidelity sound with modern connectivity options. It's designed for discerning listeners who appreciate detailed and dynamic stereo listening. It offers 110W of power per channel, a Class G amplifier, and support for streaming services like Spotify and Tidal. Thanks to a dedicated MM/MC phono input, you can also enjoy your vinyl records. Its wide range of connectivity includes HDMI with 8K support, optical inputs, and wireless streaming via Chromecast and AirPlay.

Designed for Pure Stereo Sound

The receiver's two-channel design allows the amplifier circuits to be fully optimised for stereo listening. The result is a more precise and dynamic sound compared to multi-channel AV receivers. The amplifier operates in Class G, which combines high efficiency with a musical performance. Thanks to its high-current design and low negative feedback (NFB), the receiver stably drives speakers and reduces interference, contributing to a natural and open sound.

For Lovers of Vinyl and Digital Audio

The ONKYO TX-8470 is ready to play music from both analogue and digital sources. For vinyl fans, it's equipped with a dedicated MM/MC phono input. Its isolated circuit protects the sensitive signal from the cartridge against interference and distortion, ensuring detailed and faithful reproduction. At the heart of the digital section is a premium 32-bit/768kHz stereo DAC from AKM, which handles the precise conversion of digital signals and supports high-resolution audio playback.

Modern Connectivity and a Smart Home

The receiver offers a wide range of connectivity options. There are four HDMI inputs with 8K support, two optical inputs, and one coaxial digital input. It also includes USB ports for file playback and a LAN connector for a stable network connection. Thanks to HDMI ARC, you can connect the receiver to your TV with a single cable and control the volume with your TV remote. Support for Apple and Google ecosystems allows for easy integration into a smart home and inclusion in a multi-room system. The design is complemented by gold-plated speaker terminals.
