Optive Fusion provides lubrication (moisturization) and hydration to the surface of the eye(s) and is indicated for the temporary relief of dryness, irritation, burning, discomfort and/or other symptoms caused by dry eye disease or environmental factors. The technology is based on a combination of HA (hyaluronic acid), CMC (carboxymethylcellulose) and osmoprotection for dry eye with lack of hydration. Optive Fusion delivers instant comfort with less smudging, advanced surface hydration, restores tear film integrity, provides extended protection of the eye's surface, and so-called "hydration". osmoprotection (re-hydration of the epithelial cells of the eye). The sterility of the drops is ensured by the PURITE complex, which breaks down into salt and water, i.e. common substances in tears, by the action of light.
