Orocalm Lemon contains the medicinal substance benzidamine hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Orocalm Lemon is used for the symptomatic local treatment of acute sore throat accompanied by typical signs of inflammation such as pain, redness or swelling in the mouth and throat. Orocalm lemon is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better after 3 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Treatment must be limited to a maximum of 7 days. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days, consult your doctor.
Adults and adolescents:
Take 1 lozenge 3 times a day.
Children from 6 to 11 years:
1 lozenge 3 times a day, the preparation should be administered under the supervision of an adult.
Method of use:
Slowly dissolve the lozenge in your mouth. Do not swallow or chew the lozenge.
Contraindications
Do not use Orocalm Lemon if you are allergic to Benzydamine Hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in this product.
Notice
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Orocalm Lemon if you are allergic to salicylates (e.g. acetylsalicylic acid and salicylic acid) or other drugs for fever, pain and inflammation (called. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - NSAIDs). If you have or have ever had bronchial asthma, as you may have an increased risk of bronchospasm (narrowing of the bronchial tubes). If you notice ulcers in the oral cavity and throat, which may be caused by serious disease processes.
If the symptoms, like a sore throat, within 3 days, it doesn't get better or it gets worse, or if you experience particularly severe pain, fever or other symptoms, contact your doctor. Rarely, prolonged use of lozenges can cause hypersensitivity to the drug or other ingredients. If hypersensitivity occurs, treatment should be discontinued. The product is not intended for pregnant and lactating women.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. This medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions. Keep in the original packaging to protect the product from light. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
