Why take Orthomol Mental?
Important micronutrients for the brain, concentration and memory. Pantothenic acid supports mental activity. The omega-3 fatty acid DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA. Vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, biotin, niacin, vitamin C and magnesium contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal cognitive function. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin C, vitamin E, as well as zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Ingredients
Dextrose, maltodextrin, fish oil (4.5%), magnesium salts of citric acid, beef gelatin, soybean oil, L-ascorbic acid, citric acid, orange powder, soy lecithin concentrate with phospholipids (from Glycine max) (1.4%), glycerol humectant, stabilizer gum arabic, aroma, L-carnitine-L-tartrate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, green tea extract rich in polyphenols (from Camellia sinensis), Ginkgo biloba extract rich in flavone glucosides and ginkgolides, emulsifier mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, nicotinamide, Grape seed extract rich in polyphenols (from Vitis vinifera), zinc gluconate, sweetener acesulfame K, calcium p-pantothenate, a mixture of tocopherols, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiaminmononitrate, riboflavin, citrus fruit extract rich in bioflavonoids (from Citrus sp. ), coenzyme Q10 (0.03 %), iron oxide dye, beta-carotene, copper complexes of chlorophylls and chlorophyllins, antioxidant extract rich in tocopherols, Tagetes erecta extract rich in lutein, retinyl acetate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, emulsifier soya lecithins, lycopene (from Solanum lycopersicum), sodium selenate, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin.
Recommended dosage
Dissolve the contents of one sachet (= daily dose) in 150-200 ml of still water or fruit juice and take it with the capsules every day with or after meals. Micronutrients are needed every day, so regular and long-term use is recommended.
Notice
Orthomol® Mental contains rapidly available carbohydrates (11.2 g per day). In the case of impaired glucose tolerance, this product should be taken while carefully controlling metabolism. Individual reports indicate that people taking concomitant preparations containing ginkgo and anticoagulants, such as Marcumar (Phenprocoumon) or low-dose acetylsalicylic acid, may experience a tendency to bleed. Therefore, people suffering from haemorrhagic diathesis or taking anticoagulants should only take Orthomol® Mental after consulting a doctor. The doctor will also decide whether Orthomol® Mental should be discontinued before the planned (elective) surgery. The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Keep out of reach of children. Orthomol® Mental does not contain lactose or gluten. Vitamin B2 content can cause yellow discolouration of the urine. This preparation contains beta-carotene (provitamin A), which has a strong colouring effect. Any stains, e.g. on clothes, they are difficult to remove.
Storage
Orthomol® Mental should be stored in a cool, dry place.
