Orthomol® Sport is a dietary supplement containing important micronutrients for sports performance.
Active ingredients of Orthomol Sport
- The minerals magnesium and calcium contribute to normal muscle function.
- B vitamins and various minerals contribute to normal energy metabolism.
- Glucose can be stored in the body in the form of glycogen as an energy-transferring substance.
- Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
- Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate (carbohydrate) metabolism.
- Vitamin C contributes to the maintenance of normal immune system function during and after intense physical exertion.
- Oxygen in the body is bound to haemoglobin in red blood cells, and is transported in the blood cells to the tissues.
- Iron, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal production of red blood cells.
- Iron contributes to the normal production of haemoglobin and to normal oxygen transport.
- Folic acid contributes to normal blood formation.
- The antioxidants vitamin C and E, as well as the trace elements zinc, selenium and copper contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Water, orange juice concentrate rich in bioflavonoids, stabilizer: glycerol, fructose, magnesium glycerophosphate, lactic acid, calcium carbonate, fish oil (1.9%), L-ascorbic acid, potassium lactate, L-carnitine (1.2%), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin (beef), cornstarch, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, zinc gluconate, preservative: potassium sorbate, calcium D-pantothenate, polishing agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, ferrous fumarate, coenzyme Q10 (0.06%), polishing agent: hydroxypropyl cellulose, anti-caking agent: Silica, anti-caking agent: fatty acids, anti-caking agent: talc, sweetener: acesulfame K, pyridoxine hydrochloride, colour: calcium carbonate, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, thiamine hydrochloride, colour: iron oxides, riboflavin, flavouring, sweetener: sucralose, copper sulphate, beta-carotene, retinyl acetate, extract from the axamotlum erecta (Tagetes erecta) rich in lutein, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, antioxidant: DL-alpha-tocopherol, lycopene, Chromium (III) chloride, D-biotin, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, sodium selenate, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin.
Recommended dosage
Take the contents of one ready-to-drink bottle (= daily portion) together with the tablet and capsule every day at mealtime or after meals. Shake well before use. In general, we recommend taking the product with some time before sporting activity, or with some time after sporting activity.
How long should Orthomol® Sport be taken:
Micronutrients are needed every day; regular and long-term use is therefore recommended.
Notice
Orthomol® Sport contains readily available carbohydrates (8.3 g per daily serving). This product should only be used in cases of glucose tolerance disorders with careful metabolic control. Orthomol® Sport contains iodine. If you have thyroid hyperfunction (hyperthyroidism), consult your physician before taking Orthomol® Sport. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose (daily serving). Keep out of reach of children. Orthomol® Sport does not contain lactose or gluten. Orthomol® Sport does not contain nandrolone (sample analysis, detection level 0.01 μg/g [GC/MS]). If you take Orthomol® Sport, you may experience the following harmless side effects: yellow discolouration of the urine caused by the vitamin B2 content, as well as occasional mild burping due to the fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) in the capsule. To avoid burping, it is recommended to take a capsule before going to bed. This product contains beta-carotene (provitamin A), which is a strong colouring agent. It can therefore be difficult to remove any stains, for example from clothing. It contains L-carnitine, coenzyme Q10 and omega-3 fatty acids. It does not serve as a substitute for a varied diet.
