Active ingredients
- Compared to mature milk, Colostrum contains a particularly high amount of bioactive substances that have an effect on the living organism, tissue or cell to give the newborn the best possible start in life and strengthen its immune system. It contains antibodies that help protect against disease and infection. It also contains immune and growth factors and other bioactive substances that contribute to jump-starting the newborn's immune system and gut function to populate a healthy gut microbiome in the first days of life. The bioactive substances contained in colostrum are essential for the health, growth and vitality of the newborn. It is filled with white blood cells that protect them from infection.
- Skimmed Colostrum contains at least 30% IgG. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the most important class of antibodies. It makes up ¾ of all antibodies in the serum. IgG has 4 subclasses (IgG1-4), which differ in their opsonization properties, binding to complement, and the length of time they are active. IgG has several functions. Opsonization: FcR receptors for Fc-fragments of IgG are found on neutrophils and macrophages, allowing phagocytosis and elimination of pathogens. Activation of the complement by the classical way: After IgG binds to the antigen, complement is activated, which is important for defence against infections. Secondary immune response: After repeated encounters with the antigen, IgG engages in a rapid and potent immune response. Neutralization of toxins: Binding of IgG to the toxin results in blocking and neutralization of the toxin by forming an immunocomplex.
- Beta-glucans in the product are bioactive patented by Yestimun containing min. 80 % natural polysaccharide beta-glucans from the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
- Beta-glucans are complex, high molecular weight polysaccharides found in the cell wall of many yeasts, bacteria, fungi, algae and cereals. Yeast beta-glucans are natural substances that affect the immune function of the body - they are called. immunomodulators. This is also related to their anti-cancer activity, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, promotion of wound healing or increasing resistance to infections.
- Vitamin C is a very important antioxidant, which means it protects cells from oxidative stress. It helps the function of the immune system and supports energy metabolism.
- Selenium plays an important role in immunity and its antioxidant effect protects the body's cells, reducing the risk of cancer. It has a positive effect on the immune and cardiovascular system and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and vascular disease.
- Zinc is important for a number of enzymes required for cell metabolism and is involved in the regulation of cell division rate, cell activity and cell maturation.
Method of use:
Capsules are administered daily according to the recommended dosage into the animal's mouth, preferably on an empty stomach at least 20 minutes before feeding, or with a small piece of food, the capsule can also be opened and the contents poured directly into the animal's mouth.
