Alavis™ Joint Nutrition contains a unique combination of the following ingredients: Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate. Active ingredients in 1 tablet: glucosamine sulfate 500 mg, chondroitin sulfate 400 mg.
- Glucosamine sulfate plays an important role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (the basic building blocks of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by cartilage. The administration of glucosamine slows down the development of degenerative changes in cartilage.
- Chondroitin sulfate is an important component of articular cartilage. It binds large amounts of water, thereby hydrating cartilage, promoting the formation of proteoglycans and reducing collagenolytic activity. The administration of chondroitin slows down the destructive changes of cartilage, relieves joint pain, improves mobility and reduces the course of joint inflammation.
Recommended dosage and method of use
Tablets are administered daily according to the recommended dosage directly into the mouth or with a piece of food, or. crushed into the feed.
