Hunter Nordby jacket for dachshunds 40 cm

The Hunter Nordby jacket is designed with a special cut for dachshunds and dogs with longer bodies. The water-repellent outer material is complemented by a warm fleece lining that protects against the cold. A high collar and enclosed belly area increase protection in bad weather. The jacket size corresponds to a back length of 40cm and a chest circumference of 39–60cm.

Protection from the weather

The outer layer of the jacket is water-repellent and waterproof, protecting your dog from rain and damp. Inside, there is a warm fleece lining that retains body heat and provides thermal comfort even on colder days.

Special cut and custom fit

The jacket has a special cut for dachshunds and other breeds with an elongated body shape. The high collar protects the sensitive neck area, and its width can also be individually adjusted. For a perfect fit, an adjustable elastic belly strap with a buckle is included. The jacket is equipped with elastic loops for the hind legs to hold it in place.

Practical details and care

On the back, there is a waterproof two-way zip that allows you to easily attach a lead to a harness worn underneath the jacket. For better visibility at dusk and in the dark, the jacket features reflective elements. The jacket can be machine washed on a cycle up to 30°C.

Please note:

To choose the correct size, you must measure your dog while it is standing straight. The back length is measured from the withers, which is the point between the shoulder blades, to the base of the tail. The chest and neck circumference should be measured at their widest point. It is advisable to add a few centimetres to the measured values so the jacket is not too tight. A correctly chosen jacket must not restrict the dog's movement, be too constricting, or be unnecessarily loose.
