Although you have a filter in your aquarium, you should change 1/3 of the water approximately every 2 weeks. The aquarium filter does not catch all the impurities, a large part of them settles on the bottom and spoils the water quality. The JBL PROCLEAN AQUA IN OUT Complete Water Change Kit with Bottom Cleaner is designed for aquariums with a height of 30 - 70 cm and is used for convenient draining of part of the water, suctioning out dirt from the bottom and refilling with clean water. Includes a jet pump that can be connected to the tap. The suction is carried out by the water flow at the tap, it is an automatic suction device. The bottom can be easily cleaned even in hard-to-reach places with the practical drain bell, which offers a circular cross-section with a horn.

JBL ProClean Aqua In Out Complete Water Change Kit and its easy installation
Installation is quick and easy. Connect the water jet pump to the tap, connect the hose to the pump and the other end to the skimmer. You hang it with the included clip in the aquarium and open the stopcock on the pump. The water is sucked in and drained out and during this time you clean the bottom by sucking out the dirt with a skimmer. When the required amount of water has been drained, turn off the tap and let clean water flow into the aquarium. The set includes an 8 metre hose.
How to use a skimmer correctly
With a rotating motion, the skimmer is inserted into the bottom of the aquarium and the substrate and debris are sucked up. But the substrate falls back by its own weight and you only suck out the dirt. The skimmer is equipped with a strainer to prevent the aquarium inhabitants from being sucked in. The strainer can of course be removed and cleaned. If you have a bottom made up of fine sand, lifting the skimmer will adjust the suction to allow the sand to sink back in. If the bottom is gravel and there is long-term fertiliser under the gravel, then do not push the skimmer all the way to the bottom glass.
