It also contains a high amount of vitamin C, so it is especially healthy for guinea pigs, which are unable to produce this vitamin themselves. This feed material is suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, degus and other rodents. It has a diuretic effect, which can colour the urine red. Ideal as an addition to hay to stimulate appetite, but also as an occasional treat.
