Hardened glass is used to protect mobile phone's display. Currently, this is the best form of protection available on the market. Compared to the protective films, the hardened glass is much more resistant.
At the same time there is no image distortion and it does not create bubbles as the protective film would do, which could adversely affect touch controls. Finally, a finger slides over the glass much better than on the protective film. Conversely, a major drawback is the compatibility.
