Helpful treatment after proctological surgery, for hemorrhoids, anal rugae and fissures. PROKTIS-M® suppositories work thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, a mucopolysaccharide that is abundantly distributed in many body tissues. Due to its ability to retain water, hyaluronic acid forms a film that hydrates and accelerates and improves the process of epithelial renewal and tissue healing.
Indications
Auxiliary treatment in the healing process of anorectal canal conditions after proctological surgery, internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, Cryptids, anal ragas, fissures and perianal fistulas.
Ingredients
Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid (5 mg), Asian navel oil extract, Calendula oil extract, aloe vera oil extract, tea tree essential oil, semi-synthetic glycerides, BHT.
Recommended dosage
Adults:
Use one suppository daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime or as prescribed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the development of symptoms; PROKTIS-M® suppositories can be used for a long period of time if necessary, in any case discontinue treatment for one week after 30 days of continuous use.
Method of administration (instructions for use):
Wash your hands before and after using the medical device. Separate the suppository from the blister along the pre-cut line. Remove the suppository by pulling the two wings of the blister. Insert the suppository into the rectum. Do not hold the suppository between your fingers for too long as it may dissolve.

Read the instructions carefully before use! Do not exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your physician. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any component of the product. In particular, prolonged use of all topically applied products may lead to symptoms of hypersensitivity. In these cases, or if you experience other side effects, discontinue treatment and consult your physician to initiate appropriate treatment. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Don't swallow. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or if it is not perfectly intact when first opened. Do not use after the expiry date. The shelf life refers to the product properly stored in unopened packaging. The product is intended for rectal use only. Since no specific clinical studies have been conducted, in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a physician before using the product.
