The ProtecSom anti-dust mite mattress cover is made from a fabric that prevents dust mites and their allergens, found in mattresses, pillows, and duvets, from reaching the allergy sufferer. This is thanks to the minimal gaps between the fibres (less than 6 microns). The anti-dust mite covers work from the very first night you use them. The ProtecSom microfibre textile is woven using a special patented process that compresses the cotton fibres together.

Use:
Place the covers on your mattress and bedding, and close with the secure zip. Put your regular, clean bed linen over the covers. Before first use, vacuum the mattress and wash the pillow and duvet. Wash the covers before first use.
Maintenance:
It is recommended to wash the covers a maximum of twice a year. Wash at 60°C with standard detergents. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Tumble drying is possible. Do not iron the covers.
Non-standard sizes:
A cover that is a few centimetres larger than the mattress, pillow, or duvet can be used without any issues. The excess fabric can be tucked in and hidden by your regular bed linen. However, the cover should not be smaller, as stretching it too tightly could reduce its effectiveness.
