Tlačítka pro zapnutí jednotlivých disků dost často nezůstávají zapnutá.
Příklad: chci zapnout disk, stisknu tlačítko, rozsvítí se, disk nabíhá, ale jakmile tlačítko pustím, tak se disk vypne, tlačítko zhasne a končím - přirozeně to začnu zkoušet opět zapnout a pustit a tak disk nabíhá, vadne dokola - to asi není moc zdravé pro HDD.
