60 mesiacov je velkorysa zaruka, hlavne ak vyrobca pre tieto disky ponuka zaruku v trvani 36 mesiacov (podla informacii dostupnych na webe WD). Toto plati pre vsetky disky z radu WD RED (ako je aj tento). Naopak, pre radu WD RED PRO je zaruka 60 mesiacov.
