Rathbone R3BCE

The Rathbone R3BCE electro-acoustic guitar is a Grand Auditorium model with a gloss natural finish, featuring Double Top technology and a semi-solid body made from Bocote. The neck is mahogany, while the bridge and fretboard are rosewood. The bridge saddle and 42mm nut are bone. The instrument has open-gear tuners with a chrome finish. It is fitted with Belcat electronics, including a three-band EQ and a built-in tuner. The guitar comes strung with D'Addario EXP-16 strings. The scale length is 650mm, and the total length of the guitar is 1041mm. The body dimensions are closer to a classic dreadnought. The larger body naturally produces deeper bass tones without sacrificing clarity. The elegant curves at the waist ensure the instrument sits comfortably on your knee or hangs perfectly from your shoulder. On the R3BCE model, traditional aesthetics meet 21st-century technology by using a Double Top design – the soundboard is made from two super-thin layers of solid wood with a carbon fibre lattice in between. This construction allows the top to be slightly thinner while retaining strength and extraordinary responsiveness. The highly figured Bocote tonewood offers a fascinating marbled grain while delivering a warm, articulate tone with excellent projection.
