Rathbone R5SME

The Rathbone R5SME electro-acoustic guitar in a natural gloss finish with Double Top technology. Its larger, traditional dreadnought body naturally enhances low to mid-range frequencies, making it incredibly versatile. The top is made from solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are Sapele mahogany. The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. The bridge saddle and 42mm nut are made of bone. The instrument is fitted with active Belcat electronics featuring a three-band EQ and an integrated tuner. The scale length is 650mm, and the guitar's total length is 1041mm. Traditional aesthetics meet 21st-century technology with the use of a Double Top – the soundboard is crafted from two super-thin layers of spruce with a carbon fibre lattice in between. This construction makes the top slightly thinner than a single solid piece of spruce, yet it maintains its strength and delivers exceptional responsiveness. The guitar can be used in any musical setting, providing the ideal balance of volume, clarity and player comfort.
