How to treat heartburn? Try our tips:
- Do not lie down for at least three hours after a meal, when gastric juice production is at its peak.
- If your heartburn worsens after exercise, try drinking enough water to promote hydration and digestion. Start exercising 2 hours after a meal at the earliest.
- Higher head support can help relieve heartburn while you sleep. This position helps prevent the backflow of gastric juice into the esophagus.
- Watch what you eat and drink before bed - alcohol can relax the oesophageal sphincter, leading to a backflow of gastric juice into the oesophagus. Try to avoid fatty, spicy, sweet foods, caffeine and carbonated drinks in the evening.

Usage of Rennie Orange tablets
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: It is recommended to chew or suck on 1 or 2 chewable tablets, preferably 1 hour after meals, at bedtime, or at any time during acute onset of symptoms. Tablets do not need to be taken with water. The maximum allowable dose is 11 tablets per day. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose and do not take the product continuously for more than two weeks. If you do not feel better within 7 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.
How does Rennie work?
The use of Rennie Orange is also possible during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains 680 mg of calcium carbonate, 80 mg of heavy basic magnesium carbonate and 475 mg of sucrose as excipients. For further information, please refer to the patient information leaflet.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original inner packaging to protect the product from moisture. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
