High resolution and optical zoom
The captured image is of high quality thanks to the 3840 × 2160 px resolution, which captures the scene with fine detail. The varifocal lens with a focal length of f=2.7–13.5mm and an aperture of F1.6 has a 5× optical zoom for monitoring more distant objects without loss of quality. The field of view covers a horizontal angle of 100°–31°, a vertical angle of 55°–17°, and a screen size angle of 123°–39°. Efficient H.265 video compression reduces storage capacity requirements and network load while maintaining high transmission quality.
Night modes
The device provides reliable monitoring in zero light using two different night vision modes. The classic infrared display uses four 3W IR LED sources with a wavelength of 850nm and an automatic IR-cut filter for a clear black-and-white image. For colour night vision, there are five integrated LED spotlights with a total power of 4W and a colour temperature of 6500K, which illuminate the monitored area and help identify key details.
Smart detection and alarm system
Built-in image processing algorithms can accurately distinguish human figures, vehicles, and pets from normal movement in the vicinity, thereby preventing unwanted alarm triggers. When a breach is detected, the system sends an instant notification via a mobile push notification or an email. It also responds with an active light and sound alarm, which can deter potential intruders on the spot.
Two-way audio and communication
The integrated hardware includes a sensitive microphone and speaker, which provide clear, real-time audio transmission. This configuration enables full-duplex two-way audio, letting you talk to people at the entrance or warn off unauthorised individuals remotely. The audio module also serves to reproduce warning tones when the alarm is activated.
Flexible data storage options
Users have several independent methods for saving captured video recordings. Local storage is provided by a MicroSD card slot that supports capacities up to 256GB. For more robust data management, you can connect to a Reolink NVR, save to a remote FTP server, or back up via the Reolink Cloud service.
Connectivity and app
A stable network connection is ensured by the modern Wi-Fi 6 wireless standard with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security. Remote management and live streaming are handled by the Reolink mobile app for iOS and Android, or the client software for Windows and Mac computers. The device also supports control via the Google Assistant.
