Reparil Dragées is indicated for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs with manifestations of, like swelling in the legs, varicose veins, a feeling of heaviness, The pain, fatigue, itching, tension and cramps in the calves. The preparation is intended for the treatment of adults. Escin, the active ingredient in Reparil Dragées, prevents the accumulation of water in the tissue and leads to a reduction in tissue swelling. Swollen feet, varicose veins, a feeling of heaviness, pains, fatigue and tension, which can be caused by local swelling due to water accumulation in the tissue, as well as a consequence of inflammatory processes, will quickly recede. If you do not feel better within 14 days or if you feel worse, consult your doctor. The package contains 100 tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Always take Reparil Dragées exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise directed by a physician, the recommended adult dose is 2 tablets 3 times daily initially, then 1 tablet 3 times daily as a maintenance dose. The tablets are taken after meals and washed down with enough water.
Duration of treatment:
If symptoms do not improve or even worsen within 2 weeks, discontinue this
and see a doctor. Do not take Reparil Dragées for more than 2 months without consulting your doctor. Always consult a doctor for longer treatment.
Contraindications
The product is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It should not be used during pregnancy or lactation as the relevant clinical data are insufficient.
Notice
Consult your physician or pharmacist before taking Reparil Dragées. If you suffer from kidney disease. If you develop skin inflammation (redness of the inflamed area associated with temperature) during treatment, inflammation of the veins (redness and painful hardening over the veins) or subcutaneous swelling, severe pain, ulcers on the lower limb, sudden swelling of one or both legs, cardiac or renal insufficiency, contact your doctor immediately. These can be symptoms of serious diseases.
When treating with Reparil Dragées, it is important to maintain other precautions prescribed by your physician, such as bandaging the feet, wearing compression stockings and showering the feet with cold water, as the use of this product does not replace these precautions.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original packaging to protect the product from moisture. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use Reparil Dragées after the expiry date stated on the packaging after EXP. Time expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
