The fact that it has bad sound is still understandable for the price (plus it has a 3.5 mm jack, which is really a rarity today), but the picture is really disappointing. The backlighting of the panel shines brightly around the perimeter. The colours are out of this world (maybe from the haggis), because the people look grey as dead men. When you try to adjust the colors, they look animated again for a change. The old TV has a much, much better picture and it's a poor 6 years old and cost the same back then. Eventually returned and bought a Samsung which is considerably better.
