The cake tin leaks, so after I poured the batter into the tin it slowly but surely started to leak out from underneath the tin. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it, so half of the cake spilled out of the mould, which I left aside to stand on the floor. But since the party was the next day, I had to bake in this form again out of compulsion. When I made the new dough, I put it in the mold and that immediately went into the oven and leaked again until the heat stiffened the dough a bit, making the oven ripe for deep cleaning. When I took the cake out, even though the cake tin was greased and floured, I had to "cut" the cake out of the tin. I bake cakes often and this time I wanted to reach for an interesting shape, but after this experience I'll stick with my favourite round ones.
