I’ve switched from a ten-year-old LG LED TV, and what’s truly stunning is the picture quality and that beautiful black colour. Another great feature is the integration with Xbox – the games run more smoothly. WebOS is smoother than the old version, but I was expecting a quicker response. The only downside is that there’s just one USB port. Can this be sorted out with a USB hub?

The C6 and G6 ranges are, of course, significantly better, but also considerably more expensive. I'm happy. As far as brightness is concerned, it’s much better than my previous LCD TV. WebOS needs a bit of a tidying up. When you first launch it, it’s unnecessarily cluttered, but you can uninstall the unnecessary apps and turn off the recommendations. There just aren’t as many apps as on the ATV/GTV, and sideloading isn’t quite as straightforward. The TV has an anti-glare film, but it’s still quite reflective. It’s not exactly a mirror, but I really wouldn’t put it opposite the window.
