I wanted a code lock for the other locker at work so I didn't have to take out the key every time. The first, cheaper lock ended up in the trash and now I have this one. It's sturdier than I thought, but it fits. I didn't figure out how to actually unlock it and it was a bit of a nut to figure out. The lock comes with a unique code, which cannot be cancelled and is entered by style: Turn the whole lock 3 times to the right through 0 to your first number. Then turn left through your first number to your second and finally right to your last number, click, unlocked. It would be quicker to unlock with a key, but I understand that this is probably the normal unlocking of these types of locks. Otherwise the Abus is the top of the range among locks so I believe it will outlast me, just consider whether you will want to spin it enough to unlock it.
