We wanted a cold vapor humidifier for the bedroom so I wouldn't have to keep buying flasks of distilled water. Before buying it, I read that this machine can only handle smaller rooms and that unlike ultrasonic humidifiers, it takes a while to humidify a room. Well, our bedroom is 14 m2 and I left the machine running for two days straight when we were away over the weekend. Humidity has increased from 31% to 34% (our target is around 50%). In addition, I had to turn it off the next night because it was humming quite a bit even on low gear, and there was always something knocking quietly (probably as the disc filters were turning). So cold vapor is a nice idea, but it doesn't really work. Škoda.
