The bed is extremely soft, not in a good way. The removable cushion slides in and does not hold its shape, so as soon as the dog enters the bed, the cushion slides out and the dog just lies on the floor on the thin "bottom" of the bed. The edge is too low. Not functional for a medium sized dog.
