As an asthmatic I can only recommend this filter. I turn it on overnight and wake up in the morning in a room with "fresh" filtered air. I can't open the window at night (we live on a crappy street). This purifier ensures that the air in the room is clean and fresh. If it filters overnight, I wake up in the morning without a stuffy nose (asthmatics know what I'm talking about)
