The HDD mounts over rubber anti-vibration pads and as a whole I find it very unstable, it wiggles a lot, so I didn't find the courage to trust my HDD to something like that after all.
Caution, some shafts may not be compatible enough to hide the disc completely. It happened to me on the Corsair 750D that the shaft cover sticks forward a bit (about 2mm) because I can't quite plug it in if there was no disc.
Some of the mechanics or other things are pretty tight, if it was adjustable it would be better
