I don't know what anyone is doing with this, I've used it on several fans including Noctua and no problem.: -)
doing what they're supposed to do
insert, pull from the other side and you're done

works
they do not leave grooves in the holes like classic screws
the manufacturer states “tool-free“ installation, which I would not directly agree with, but with the help of pliers it is very easy

I guess the fans will stop vibrating then?
Incredibly poor installation (maybe it's the construction of the fan, because apparently most people installed it just fine)

Really effective at dampening vibrations from the fan, it serves its purpose well.
More complicated assembly. You can't thread Noctua fans through, they have to be trimmed a bit at the widest point. It fits the Artic fans perfectly.

objectively less vibration is transmitted to the cabinet from the fans than with screws
can be used repeatedly
the first time I used it I managed to destroy 3 of them before I figured out how to catch the fan in them properly (it's probably more me)
this height is not suitable for narrow spaces. I had to chip them off at the top of the cabinet to close it. (again my stupidity for not measuring before ordering)

I didn't notice significant noise attenuation, but it's definitely a detail that, along with everything else combined, will help result in a quieter pc
