I'm buying for the second time, this time for a friend. I find that medium filters are quite sufficient for concerts, high filters muffle the music too much for my taste, but they would definitely be better for muffling noisy environments. I haven't tried the low filters, thanks to the ideal medium filtration. For those who are unsure about investing in these plugs, there are cheaper partyplug versions from the same manufacturer that work virtually the same as the medium filters here, just without the accessories.

Music at concerts can be heard better than without earplugs, unpleasant sounds are filtered out

Earplugs hold firmly in the ear
There are three plugs, but only two filters. So if you lose the filter plug, you'll have to buy the plugs again, or switch to low/high filtration (but in 10 years of using Alpine plugs, it hasn't fallen out of my ear once)
