The tape has an average hold. Absolutely enough for tying cables. I tried wrapping the USB-C dock with it and sticking it under the wrapped laptop table, and it held tooth and nail even after prying with the connected cables. At least better than the self-adhesive zipper I had there before that would peel off from the hot dock.
I am deducting a star for not observing the declared length of the tape in the package. About 8% is missing, which I can live with considering the price, but I really don' t understand why Alza needs this.
